Lozenge Companion is a remote for Lozenge on your Mac. Walk away from the keyboard and keep your place in the script. It is free, and it has no account and nothing to buy.
What it does
- Remote. See the line you are on and the one after it. Back, next, play and pause, slower, faster, and back to the top.
- Presenter. On a Presenter plan, the report from your last take and what the Slides bridge is doing.
- Meeting. On Pro, follow a Listen session from your phone: the transcript, live answers, and research as they arrive. Notes and bookmarks you add land in the session on your Mac.
- Lock Screen. A widget that says a session is live and nothing else. No script, no names, no transcript.
Your plan on the Mac decides which of these you see. The phone never asks you to pay for anything.
How it connects
In Lozenge on your Mac, open the companion and press Start. Scan the code it shows with the app. The phone and the Mac talk directly over your Wi-Fi, encrypted, with a key that only that code carries. Nothing goes through a server, and the phone keeps no copy of your script or your meeting. Stop on the Mac and the pairing ends.
What it does not do
It is not a teleprompter of its own and does not listen through the phone. It works only while Lozenge is running on a Mac on the same network. If the Mac sleeps, scan a fresh code when it wakes.
